Oops, I'm a bit late. This was the end on my holidays last week, and I've been busy with Life stuff.
I also worked quite a lot on youtube-to-opml, adding YouTube API support and other stuff. This was a very small project but it was quite motivating, I even published it on crates.io. I guess I still have a lot of work to do on the CI part but since this project is "finished", I'm not sure this is worth it. Also I have to mention that I used Claude (the free version) to review my code (no vibe coding here), and it was... interesting, I would say.
During this holidays week, I managed to install GrapheneOS on my phone (more on that later), and installed CachyOS instead of Arch Linux on my main computer. Also, I was off the computer more than often, which is a good thing!
I still kept an eye on the news, and here is what caught my eye this week!
It's been a while since I'm wondering what to do with this... blog? And since I spent a lot of time reading stuff online, I am thinking that maybe I can share some of the articles, like a kind of press review.
I will share here the most interesting, scandalous or funny stuff I found. It will mostly talk about tech, video games, music, movies, books, (french) politics too.
I hope to keep this weekly based but I can't promise anything because, well, life.
The political situation in the US, and the last decisions of some companies make it less and less bearable to use products from the GAFAM and their friends. Also, old and reliable service now enshittify more and more.
Here I will list some of those services that I use or used to use, and what is the alternative solution I chose, when it was possible
I don't really have any great plan for HaRSS. I don't intent to make it a start up, nor anthing like this, but I intent to make it available for free to everyone, as long as it doesn't cost me too much money. Or time. Or sanity.
So all of this implies have some kind of users management.
